Day 2. A fairly tough day climbing out from our base in Cádiar into the mountains around Puerto de la Ragua, a 2000m pass. Lunch will be on route in the mountains as there are no cafes. Once we leave the Sierra Nevada mountains we drop to Calahorra for our first overnight stop.
Day 3. We leave Calahorra north across the flat high plains before climbing through an off road pass which takes us through the mountains to our next stop in the pretty town of Gor with the option is of an extra loop.

Day 4. After breakfast in Gor we have a long steady climb to the Calar Alto observatories passing nothing but the occasional farm house. Once up top we have kms of stunning gravel tracks before eventually dropping down to our amazing accommodation with a pool in Gergal. Lunch will be picnic en route.

Day 5. An easy start this morning but we soon drop into the Tabernas desert with some fairly tough sandy sections. When we hit tarmac we have a nice run to our hotel on the beach. There is an option for more exploring the local beach trails if we have time in the afternoon, or you can just chill in the pool at our 4 star hotel, or have a dip in the sea!
Day 6. After a flat start along the coast we start an amazing gravel climb from the center of Almeria city. We then carry on gaining height up the valley to our overnight stop.
