Spanish Sportives

Spanish sportives are some of the best organised and best value events you can do. Every year we attend as many local events as possible which are all well worth a trip and offer some great challenges and even better goody bags!

Further dates to be confirmed around the Granada and Almeria regions.
Dates and prices are subject to change so we'll confirm these as soon as we can. Contact us for more information on any event.

This week runs from Tuesday to Tuesday. We ride out of Cadiar on Wednesday and Thursday, then on Friday we head over to Granada to pick up our race numbers and settle into our hotel then Saturday and Sunday is the event, ride back to Cadiar on the Monday, and then the transfer back to Malaga on Tuesday.

Race details

Saturday 182km 4000mts. Starting and finishing at the ski resort above Granada, we drop down to Granada before tackling the very tough Puerto de Monachil climb, before a stunning ride around a reservoir. We then work our way back to the ski resort via the insane climb from the village of Guejar Sierra. There is also a shorter route at 92km with over 3000m ascent.

Sunday 50km 2710mts It may be short but this is the old favourite and finishes on the Pico Veleta, the highest road in Europe. If you can get under 3 hours you are going really well.
