The base for your holiday is our large house in Cádiar, which overlooks a pretty, quiet church square. We can sleep up to 7 people at our house and most of the rooms look out onto the square and up to the mountains – a stunning view.
If there are more than 7 of you we can put you up locally, so you can still eat with us but just sleep elsewhere.
There is a good size lounge which leads onto a large terrace where you can chill out after a hard days ride with a few beers, looking up the mountains you’ve just been climbing!
We all eat together in the dining room, or up on the terrace, it’s up to you, or we can recommend restaurants in Cádiar and the surrounding area.
On the ground floor is the bike store and workshop where you can tinker to your heart’s content, and we keep a supply of basics in stock such as inner tubes, tyres, chain lube and muesli bars.
Washing is available at 1.50 euros a bag.
Food
We love our food and know that cycling round these mountains requires plenty of energy. That’s why one thing you won’t go here is hungry!
We start the day with a selection of cereals, porridge, fruit, bread, ham, cheese, hard boiled eggs, yoghurt, tea, coffee and juice. For lunch you can stop off at one of the bars on your route or you can take a snack with you. For dinner you can choose to eat in at the house or take a short walk into Cádiar to one of the bars.
Dinner at the house is home-cooked and 2 courses with wine and beer for 25 euros per person per night.
