28 May-3 June 2019 TBC

The main focus of this trip is La Indomable sportive. Arriving Tuesday lunchtime there should be time for a short ride in the afternoon.  Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will take in local loops. Saturday is La Indomable with a last ride on Sunday before packing your bike ready for the transfer back to Malaga on Monday for a lunchtime flight home.

The Indomable routes
Both routes are the same for the first 60km, heading to the coast, passing through Adra, then heading inland from La Rabita where we start gaining height for around 25km until we reach the Puerto de Haza del Lino, where they split. The long route turns left and runs down to Orgiva where the long climb of the day starts, 33km to Trevelez at 1400m above sea level. From here you have a few shorter climbs but a downhill bias passing through several traditional Alpujarran villages and finishing with a run round the Beninar reservoir before heading back to Berja and over the finish line. The shorter route turns right at Haza del Lino, follows an undulating ridge road then descends 10km to Cadiar, (no stopping at the house for siesta!!), then follows a 7km climb to Mecina Bombaron (after 5km you join the long routers), then pass through the traditional villages and take the same way back to Berja as mentioned.
